Have a CCW permit but haven't actually trained on using your concealed weapon? The Concealed Defensive Handgun class is designed to make you an effectively armed citizen, not just someone carrying a firearm. Although only an introductory level class is required as a prerequisite, it is recommended that you have an intermediate level or a fair amount of experience with a handgun.

This class teaches the skills required to responsibly carry a firearm in public. Clothing and concealment options are discussed, as well as the moral and legal considerations for carrying. Students learn how to draw from concealment safely and effectively from daily positions, navigate dangerous situations, and operate a smaller firearm in general. Presentation from cover, reloading, and correcting malfunctions are all practiced, with multiple rounds and multiple targets involved. You won't find another concealed carry class at a better value.

Prerequisites:

• Must be lawful for you to possess a firearm in the United States
  

Student supply list:

• Semi automatic handgun - preferably the one carried
• Belt and concealed carry holster for your firearm (no ankle holsters or shoulder rigs)
• Magazine pouches and 2 magazines
• 250 rounds of ammo for your pistol
• Eye protection
  
• Ear protection
  
• Baseball type cap or a hat
• Clothing and footwear suitable for carrying a concealed weapon
• Knee pads if needed
• Note taking gear
• Smart phone

What you need to know before attending:

• This is not a permitting class to get a CCW license. This class covers practical application in using a concealed weapon.
• There is a $25 range usage fee for non-members of host club. If choosing not to prepay, please bring exact cash to training. If you are registering for multiple people who are a mix of members and non members, please make separate purchases for members and non members as the prepaid fee applies to every registrant.
• Club members at host clubs are eligible for 10% off tuition. Email andy@rapiddefensewi.com your badge number to receive the discount code prior to purchasing the class.
• We'll send exact location address and class information about a week out from the class containing everything you need to know.
• Withdrawal and refund requests must be made to andy@rapiddefensewi.com at least 14 days prior to the registered event, and are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover our refund/processing costs.
