PREREQUISITE: Prior match or training class experience if shooting - you must be familiar with firearms safety and handling. This is NOT a beginner level event (if you are unsure of your skill level, take our quick proficiency quiz). If you are unsafe handling firearms, you will be downgraded to a spectator without refund.

Join us for an exciting evening of shooting in the dark! We're bringing back this amazingly fun event and adding even more shooting and complex stages so you can practice in the dark. You can attend and participate with any low light set up, including night vision or white light. You'll even be able to chat with others, try their gear, and learn the best practices for shooting at night. There are not many places you can run your kit at night safely, but we're making it happen. Don't miss this rare chance to meet some of the community and put your gear to the test!

This is not a scored event - stages are designed to help you test your low light equipment and skills. After the first run through, stages can be run as often as you'd like at your own pace.

We plan to have some local vendors to show off gear and equipment set ups! Stay tuned.

Night Fighters Includes:

• 4 stages available for low light shooting that test practical skill sets for rifle and pistol (NVG and/or white light is ok - run what you brung) - run them as many times as you'd like
• Hands-on NV, thermal, and low light product demos from Rapid Defense and other shooters
• Gear trade/swap meet - bring your spare gear and trade for something else
• Evening of camaraderie with a great group of shooters with low light set ups

Night Fighters Rules:

• Registration is required to attend. Absolutely no walk-ons.
• This is NOT a Wild West, free for all shooting day. Stages and shooting will be run under the direction of ROs.
• NO show and tell anywhere except designated area. This means no firearms in the parking lot except to and from the range with chamber flags in.
• Personal, visible illumination required on both front and back of ALL attendees - chem lights provided as needed
• Safety brief and intro at 4pm SHARP - if you miss this, you will not shoot and no refunds provided
• Cold ranges only - chamber flag in rifle required at ALL TIMES unless under direction of RO
• Spectators may not shoot at any time but may demo equipment and handle firearms per rules above
• All attendees must be 18+ and a US citizen or permanent resident (this is federal law for NV)
• Only WI residents permitted to trade firearms, ID required during check-in

Prerequisites:

• Prior match or training class experience - this event is not for beginners but spectating is permitted
• Must be lawful for you to possess a firearm in the United States and be a legal US resident
  

Student supply list:

• Rifles and pistols of your choice. Suppressors recommended on rifles.
• About 150 rounds for each firearm - NO steel core, green tip, AP, penetrator, steel case, or tracers permitted
• NVGs, white lights, and other low light gear (handheld flashlight recommended)
• Carrier, belt, or other means of suiting up and securing your gear/firearms
• Sling for rifles (single points highly discouraged)
• Secure holster for pistol (no soft-sided or SERPA style holsters)
• Batteries for your equipment
• Illumination for front AND back of person - must be visible in any direction (provided if needed)
• Chamber flag
• Ear and eye protection
• Appropriate clothing for the weather - we shoot unless there is lightning

What you need to know before attending:

• Club members at host clubs are eligible for 10% off registration. Email andy@rapiddefensewi.com your badge number to receive the discount code prior to purchasing the class.
• We'll send exact location address and class information about a week before the class containing everything you need to know.
• Withdrawal and refund requests must be made to andy@rapiddefensewi.com at least 14 days prior to the registered event, and are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover our refund/processing costs.
